1. Acceptance and Scope

These Terms of Service govern the use of mental health services provided by Dr. Fatma Yesilyurt through the website www.drfatmayesilyurt.ca and other digital platforms. By using these services, you are deemed to have accepted these terms. Dr. Fatma Yesilyurt is a licensed psychologist registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario and provides services under the laws of Ontario, Canada.

2. Service Definition and Scope

The services provided include: • Individual psychological counseling and therapy • Online therapy sessions • Group therapy and workshops • Seminars and educational content • Informational content through the website • Newsletter and educational materials These services are not medical treatment and are not suitable for medical emergencies. Situations requiring psychiatric medication and medical intervention will be referred to appropriate medical professionals.

3. Professional Boundaries and Limitations

Our services have the following limitations: • 24/7 emergency intervention services are not provided • For situations with suicide risk, emergency services should be contacted • Severe psychiatric disorders may require psychiatrist consultation • Forensic evaluations and court reports are not provided • Our services are not suitable for individuals under 18 years of age • Online sessions may be interrupted due to technical issues

4. Appointment and Cancellation Policy

Our appointment system is subject to the following rules: • Appointments are conducted at predetermined dates and times • Cancellations must be notified at least 24 hours in advance • Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will be charged • No-show situations will be charged the full fee • Late arrival will shorten the session duration, no additional fee applies • Emergency situations are considered as exceptions • Rescheduling requests are accommodated when possible

5. Payment Terms and Billing

Our payment policy is as follows: • Fees can be paid before or after the session • Accepted payment methods: Cash, credit card, bank transfer • Insurance coverage should be verified by the client • Interest may apply to late payments • Payment plans can be discussed for special circumstances • Invoices and receipts are provided upon request • Refund policy is evaluated under special conditions

6. Confidentiality and Professional Ethics

Our professional confidentiality principles: • All client information is kept strictly confidential • Information is shared only under legal obligations • Written consent is required for sharing information with third parties • Records and reports are stored in secure environments • Full compliance with College of Psychologists of Ontario ethical rules • Conflicts of interest are disclosed in advance • Professional boundaries are clearly defined and maintained

7. Digital Platform Usage Terms

Rules for website and digital services: • Website content is protected by copyright • Users can access content only for personal use • Video conferencing systems require secure connection • Service interruptions may occur due to technical issues • Users are responsible for protection against malware and cyber attacks • Recording, copying, and distributing content is prohibited • Inappropriate use may lead to service termination

8. Emergency Protocols

Procedures for emergency situations: • Suicide risk: Immediately call 911 or visit the nearest emergency room • Risk of harm to self or others: Contact security forces • Acute psychotic disorder: Seek hospital medical intervention • No guarantee of reaching Dr. Fatma Yesilyurt in emergencies • Resources and phone numbers for crisis situations are provided • Family members or close contacts may be informed in emergencies • Necessary reports are prepared in case of hospital referral

9. Liability Limitations

Service provider liability is limited as follows: • Responsibility is accepted within professional service standards • No outcome guarantee is given, therapy process varies individually • No responsibility for technical failures and third-party issues • Problems arising from client's non-compliance with treatment recommendations are excluded • No responsibility for financial losses and indirect damages • Responsibility is assumed within insurance coverage limits • Professional insurance policy exists and details are shared upon request

10. Intellectual Property Rights

Copyright and intellectual property protections: • Website content is the intellectual property of Dr. Fatma Yesilyurt • Usage rights of therapy materials and techniques are protected • Video, audio recordings, and written materials cannot be used without permission • Seminar and workshop content cannot be shared by participants • Logo, brand, and trade name usage rights are reserved • Written permission must be obtained for content citation • Legal action will be initiated in case of infringement

11. Data Protection and Security

Personal data security measures: • All data is protected with SSL encryption • Secure servers are used for data storage • Access control and authorization systems are in place • Regular security scans are performed • Cloudflare security services are utilized • GDPR and KVKK compliance is ensured • Necessary notifications are made in case of data breach • Local backup and recovery systems are available

12. Service Termination

Service termination conditions: • Either party can terminate the service with prior notice • Services may be suspended for clients who fail to meet payment obligations • Behaviors that violate ethical rules lead to service termination • Termination may occur if the therapeutic relationship becomes harmful • Referral processes and record transfers are conducted appropriately • Post-termination support and referral services are provided • Refund of paid fees is evaluated under special conditions

13. Dispute Resolution

Procedures for dispute situations: • Solution is primarily sought through direct communication • Unresolved issues can be referred to the College of Psychologists of Ontario • Mediation services are preferred • Legal disputes are heard in Ontario, Canada courts • Applicable law is Canadian and Ontario legislation • Consumer rights are protected • Legal costs are covered by the losing party

14. General Provisions

Additional rules and conditions: • These terms may be updated from time to time • Updates are announced on the website and notified via email • Invalidity of one section does not affect other sections • In case of differences between Turkish and English versions, English version is legally binding • Third-party links and services are not covered by these terms • Force majeure situations (natural disasters, pandemic, etc.) are considered as excuses for service interruptions • Contact: [email protected]
